INITIAL CONCEPT
BBB & U
After conducting the preliminary interviews, we wanted to create an experience that would alleviate the stress and uncertainty around the move-in process.
It was important that this experience empowers students to feel independent and in control - Not be another tool designed for parents or professors.
Though they may be broke now, college students are an excellent demographic for BB&B to invest in.
A few positive shopping experiences early on can result in a lifetime of loyalty and engrained brand preference.

BBB & U is a set of modifications for BB&B's existing e-commerce platform.
With these features, students can find their college's shopping list, shop by student housing situation, have access to zero-stress curated kits, and be able to filter reviews.

REAL CLIENT
Our UX design mentors from BB&B used Zoom to check in on our class every few weeks, answer questions, and provide branding advice. Working with real clients gave me an understanding of the designer-client dynamic and motivated me to make this project as polished and well thought out as possible.
TEAMWORK
For this exercise, we were allowed to collaborate with other students in the course. BBB & U would not be the same without my talented teammate, Devin Kirkwood.
E-COMMERCE
With BBB&U, we tried to make the purchasing process as simple as possible without over-simplifying. According to Tesler's Law, complex processes can only be minimized so much.
